Android phones can forward only the calls you miss, from the Phone app menu or with your carrier's code. Your phone rings first, and missed calls go to your TextbackFast number.
The numbers behind missed calls
Sources: 411 Locals study; CallRail 2025 survey.
One in five callers who hit voicemail dials your competitor next. A text in seconds keeps them talking to you.Based on the CallRail 2025 survey
From the Phone app
- Open the Phone app, tap the menu (⋮), then Settings.
- Tap Calling accounts (or Supplementary services on some phones), then Call forwarding.
- Leave Always forward off.
- Tap When unanswered, enter your TextbackFast number and tap Turn on.
- Do the same for When busy and When unreachable.
AT&T shows these menus in its Android device guides (AT&T device support). Menu names vary by phone maker and carrier. Some carriers, such as Verizon, do not show this menu, so use the code instead.
